Angoka is an IOT cyber security company, developing a system to protect connected devices and M2M communications for smart cities and smart mobility. They came to us to design a suite of hardware for their Ranger and ADS products, incorporating their electronics into rugged housings that could withstand tough environments.

Model Making
Our design was based on durability and modularity. Sections can be swapped out to change functionality, and the strap attachment ensures compatibility across drone models.
A high-fidelity visual model was made to showcase Ranger’s design. This gave Angoka the ability to test the design in the real world, and gain feedback from key stakeholders.
We designed a 3D printed development kit, which allowed Angoka to gain customer feedback on pre-production prototypes, without any investment in tooling.
