

GripMod is an open-palm attachment for weightlifting, enabling athletes to build stabiliser strength safely. We brought GripMod from prototype to manufacture, implementing design changes, defining manufacturing methods, and conducting testing to validate performance ahead of their Kickstarter campaign.

We designed GripMod to be manufactured using a combination of die casting, injection moulding and CNC milling processes, optimising for quality, durability, cost and assembly time.


In collaboration with our partner manufacturer, we supported GripMod through tooling commissioning, sampling, QC and scale production, ensuring consistent high-quality manufacture.

We simulated extreme loads and validated performance through tensile testing, applying a large safety factor to ensure safety and durability.
