SmartyPlants is a smart sensor designed to simplify plant care. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, we supported the team through the Plus X Accelerator, providing design for manufacture (DFM) expertise and preparing the product for production.

Throughout the development of the sensor, we produced high-fidelity visuals to communicate design progress. These assets were used to maintain engagement with the Kickstarter backers.
Physical prototyping enabled early-stage product photography, supporting investor communications and enhancing the clarity of design intent.
Working with manufacturers, we refined the existing industrial design into a fully injection-mouldable housing, resolving DFM constraints and ensuring manufacturability at scale.
